Controversial or not, here is the the Metropolitan Opera “Live in HD” line up for the 2012-13 season:
Summer repeats are Donizetti’s “Anna Bolena” (June 13), Rossini’s “Le
Comte Ory” (June 20), Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” (June 27), Offenbach’s “The Tales of
Hoffmann” (July 11), Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” (July 18), and Strauss’s “Der
Rosenkavalier (July 25), all starting at 6:30 p.m.
Locally The Met: “Live in HD” is shown in Cinemark theaters in Pittsburgh Mills
(Tarentum) and Robinson Township. The 2012-13 schedule (each with a subsequent
encore showing) is:
