PNME upped the ante last night at City Theatre-- its seamless concert format went even more so, with a concert of works treated as a complete whole and played even without its customary announcing of the works on screen.

Artistic Director Kevin Noe planned this weekend's concerts as part of "an arc" that continues to next week, so I am going to (try to!) combine both in a review after next week.

But if you have the time, get yourself down to the South Side at 8 p.m. to catch this program that ranged from the full, neo romantic/post-modern (yes) to singing into the body of a piano.
