It's a question we asked here in the office the other day:
What time do the Oscars start?
The poster and ads say 8 p.m. but the pre-show has been expanded to 90 minutes. That means ABC's red carpet arrivals show will begin at 7 p.m. East Coast time and the ceremony itself at 8:30 p.m.
As for when it will end, last year's show was just past midnight on the East Coast so buckle your seatbelts. It may not be a bumpy ride but it could be a long one.
