With a new flurry of concert announcements this week, this seems like a good time for an inventory of the shows in major venues.

There should be about 8 to 10 more shows booked at the First Niagara Pavilion, and perhaps 20 or more at Stage AE Outdoors -- especially with the closing of the Trib Total Media Amphitheater at Station Square.

Last summer there were three stadium concerts. It's hard to say what may happen this year. We'll see what the Stones decide to do.

Missing Marilyn Manson the Pretty Reckless with at Stage AE May 5, and Rob Zombie with Megadeath May 16 at Stage AE.

2 rumored dates. Jimmy Buffet at the Pavilion June 21 and Social Distortion at Stage AE May 23.

Tom Petty is also rumored to be doing a summer tour

Still it's starting to look like a good summer season

I know metal doesn't get a ton of coverage, but Mastodon/Opeth/Ghost is a big one at Stage AE. You could do no wrong doing something on Ghost, who look ridiculous and sound like a Mercyful Fate/Blue Oyster Cult mix.

Is Bon Iver on tour? Thought he was, so you could chalk that up as another miss.

Thanks for all the info. I was trying to stick with announced shows... Also Marilyn Manson and Mastodon are Stage AE INDOORS, which is why I didn't mention them

Not sure what kind of big rap/R&B tours there might be this summer. Those announcements (like Lil Wayne) usually come late in the game. Gotta think Nicki Minaj will probably go out.

And there's likely to be more EDM tours

Iron Maiden just released their summer tour dates and they skipped up. Would have liked to see them especially since Alice Cooper was opening. He put on a great show at Stage AE last year.
