First off, the image above has nothing to do with anything other than it is green and I thought it would sit nicely on top of the post. It's a photo of a pumpkin patch at Frazier Farm in South Oakland. I had never seen pumpkins in their early stage before and found this rather eye catching. I've explained my photo choice so let's move on to some serious stuff.
Another chapter in the continuing saga of the Igloo was written today as members of the public and an assortment of politicians had their say before the Sports & Exhibition Authority. Seems the room was pretty well split on what the arena's fate should be. ( Read Mark Belko's story on today's meeting).
