I've been flipping out over stinkbugs, they are still in my house even though I keep my thermostat low.

In one way I've been dreading the spring because I am sure they will only get worse.

Any further intelligence to offer about their habits, and where and why they might be lurking?

Yinzer, we've just been manually catching, then drowning (in soapy water) as many as we can catch in the house. The stink bugs are rather slow on the uptake

What welcome news! We are still finding them in our house. I keep picking them up and throwing them out the window. I shudder to think what is going to happen in the Spring when it gets warm and they all come out from their hiding places. Today at work I was eating lunch in the breakroom with other staff and felt something on my arm. Well, lo and behold there was a stinkbug. I took my other hand and flicked it off my arm across the room which got a few laughs. My boss picked it up with some paper towels and threw it in the garbage. I hope the traps aren't too expensive. Any idea of the cost?

My question is: Can this be used inside the house. I just flushed another one down the toilet. They seem to be mostly in my upstairs rooms. I don't know where they are nesting, but we find two or three every day. If your trap can be used inside, I'm thinking to use it with the windows still closed and it will attract all the bugs that have come in from last summer and are holed up somewhere. What do you think, Doug?

At least I got a small chuckle out of this because I was starting to think I was the only person with a house so badly infested with these demons that I've had to battle them all winter. Misery loves company!

In the fall I saw zillions of them going into the vents in the space under my roof, and they've been migrating down into the house since then, probably coming out via light fixture openings, etc. Also, some were hiding in various places in upstairs room.

I threw them outside to freeze during the winter, and now I'm flushing them, but it's annoying to think of the increased water usage from a dozen extra flushes a day.

I wonder if the pheromone traps will have the problem we've seen with Japanese beetle traps, where the chemicals attract even more bugs?
