If you ever get a chance to go to Gettysburg, it is a wonderful experience. We hired a tour guide who drove us through the battlefield and had a worth of information that took us though the battle in succession. Visiting the museum was something else. We spent all afternoon there. There is so much to look at and you could almost feel as though you were in that time period as you looked at diaries of the soldiers and the many pieces that belonged to them. I will never forget that trip.
