Ron and Kim Kachman couldn't have picked a better time to open Pino Gelato in Cranberry. After days of 90 degree temperatures, who doesn't want to dive headfirst into a cup of something cold and creamy?
Pino Gelato, which will open June 2, will offer 24 flavors of gelato and sorbetto made without artificial flavorings or added chemicals, with a menu that changes daily. Other offerings will include coffee from La Prima Espresso Company, tea and pastries, as well as a sandwich in a crispy bread cone, as pioneered by the original Pino Gelato, headquartered in Hilton Head, SC.
The store is located in the Oak Tree Place Shopping Center and will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
The Kachmans hope to open more Pino Gelato locations in Butler and Westmoreland county in the future.
