People, done with a morning of royal watching, are now sitting on the ground in front of Buckingham Palace, picnicking and drinking champagne.

AP’s Fergus Bell, among the hundreds of thousands of revelers in London today, tweeted, "I would say there is a reasonable amount of bubbly being drunk in the crowd here at Trafalgar Square."

After everyone has gone, London will require a big post-wedding cleanup. The Mall is trashed with newspapers, flags, paper periscopes and left-over camping gear.
