An unscripted Mitt Romney is a scary thing. He says stuff like he likes firing people and doesn't care about the poor. But even a scripted Mitt can be painful. In Iowa, Romney kept awkwardly reciting the words to America the Beautiful to crowds, almost acitng as if he wrote it himself. Then, in Florida, he began singing it. Please, somebody make him stop.

Slicing and dicing the candidates statements is done intentionally, deliberately and with malice forethought. This relentless, giddy exercise serves the media's goal of defining the candidates to its pre-ordained template.
What Mitt said about the poor just proves that he is a rich, out-of-touch business executive that everyone knew he was.
But if Obama were to say the exact same thing, that would prove his deep and abiding concern for the American middle class.
It is a crazy world when a politican says he will focus on 90-95% who have been hurt the most and gets BOOED! If he would have said 99%, would that have taken care of it?
Rob, just keep listening to Obama croon to "Let's Say Together" and keep licking his boots.
