A couple of quick items in the Department of Rabid Black & Gold Fandom ...
No. 1: This piece from the Huffington Post earlier this week about tips when flying indicates that an inordinate number of Steelers fans have an inordinate habit of asking pilots for game updates:

"Let's put those results to the test. With no home-team bias, we should make a pretty good sample pool. Vote for your favorite team and leave a comment telling us why you voted the way you did ..."
The Steelers destroyed it, taking 51% of the vote -- against all 31 other teams.
And, it caught the notice of his teammates:

No 4. I give you the arm-sleeve tattoos/ permanent autograph collection of Mr. Daniel Booth in Virginia.
He's got a full sleeve with 15 Steelers (past and present) autographs that he had signed on his arm with a Sharpie marker, and then tattooed right over.
The collection includes: Steeler all-time great Jerome Bettis, current Steelers Hines Ward, Ike Taylor, Willie Colon, Chris Kemoeatu, Trai Essex, James Farrior, Casey Hampton, Larry Foote, Charlie Batch, Willie Gay, head coach Mike Tomlin, and former Steelers "Fast" Willie Parker and Arnold Harrison.
He said he hopes to get more after the season, at the James Farrior Foundation events he regularly attends (which is how he got mostof them).
He said he has one player in particular in his sights: no. 56.
"I really want Woodley's autograph some kinda bad!" he said. 
Woodley's answer: Troy Polamalu.Which is pretty hilarious if you imagine it.
