We're a few days late with this, but the NHL Network announced its United States broadcasting schedule. The Penguins will have 12 of their games on the schedule:

• Oct. 16 - at Flyers
• Oct 29 - vs. Flyers
• Nov. 10 - vs. Bruins
• Dec. 23 - at Capitals
• Jan. 6 - at Canadiens
• Jan. 20 - at Devils
• Feb. 4 - vs. Sabres
• Feb. 10 - vs. Kings
• Feb. 26 - at Maple Leafs
• March 4 - at Devils
• March 24 - at Flyers
• March 25 - vs. Devils

In recent years, anyone in the United States attempting to watch the game outside of the Pittsburgh or opponent's market through a Center Ice or GameCenter Live subscription had trouble watching the game unless they ALSO subscribed to NHL Network. So please plan ahead.

I live outside of pittsburgh and if you are willing to pay for center ice do yourself a favor and pay for the nhl network as well, i watch it all the time between nhl live, national games every night, and NHL on the fly is the best daily hockey highlight show in the US.


now if only there was a way to order FSN-pittsburgh to my house....

Especially when you add in that Versus is going to show 11 games, bring the total to 23 Penguins games shown before you add in the few NBC will show and the free previews you get from Center Ice and it looks like you could get half the season without subscribing to Center Ice.
