We suppose this could be characterized as a "lower-body" issue.

Pascal Dupuis (right), who scored two goals in the team's 3-2 win in Carolina Saturday, will not be available after being summoned back to Pittsburgh to attend to the birth of his fourth child.

As a result of that development and Jordan Staal's new hand ailment, the team's lines have undergone some signifcant changes since Saturday. One of those changes involves Evgeni Malkin  being moved back to center.

Here are your re-tooled lines from this morning's skate (PG+):

The team's suddenly healthier seven defensemen were rotated. All are expected to be available when Dan Bylsma fills out his lineup card tonight.

Additionally, Paul Martin was working with the team's top power play unit instead of Kris Letang.

EN Says: Our primary concern with all these developments is for the welfare Lola Dupuis who may possibly entered the world haven mistaken her moustached father for his idol, Michel Goulet.

Maybe Comerie can start producing with Crosby. I don't get that guy, he looked good with Malkin in the preseason, but has done nothing... Sadly enough if you look at all the wingers for Malkin or Crosby non of them have played well with them except Malone.

Speaking of production, after their fourth kid I certainly hope the Dupuis have figured out what's causing it.

Hopefully the doctor was there to catch the baby b/c we know Pascal has no hands!
