Some good news and bad news out of Penguins practice today.
First the bad news. Forward Mark Letestu (right) will be sidelined four to six weeks due to a knee injury which will require surgery. Letestu was injured when he caught his skate in a rut during a morning skate at Madison Square Garden Tuesday.
In 50 games this season, Letestu has recorded 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists). He has been the team's second-best faceoff specialist behind Sidney Crosby with a success rate of 54.1 percent.
The good news, Evgeni Malkin is expected to return to the lineup tomorrow against the Sabres after missing the past five games due to a knee injury and a sinus infection. In 42 games this season, Malkin has 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists).
