Another day, another call-up.

In the wake of forward Dustin Jeffrey going down with an apparent right leg injury last night, the Penguins recalled forward Eric Tangradi (right) from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL. This is Tangradi's second recall from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton within two weeks and third stint in the NHL this season.

In 13 NHL games this season, Tangradi, 22, has two points. In 42 AHL games this season, he has 33 points (18 goals, 15 assists).

According to the Penguins' Web site, Jeffrey has now been placed on injured reserve.

Did the Penguin centers have a field trip to King Tut's tomb this summer? Seriously, they need to just start listing everybody as a forward, you are cursed if you're labeled as a C.

If there ever was a game when Godard needed to dress, this seems to be it. Especially when the Islanders called up one of their tough guys.

Actually, I think Godard is pretty much useless for this game. Who exactly would he be protecting anyway? And Engelland has already proved himself to be the better fighter/enforcer/not wasting minutes on the ice.

Wow, really surprised they would roll with Johnny tonight. Godard has to be in if that is the case.
