The Corey Potter era has come to an end.
The Penguins demoted defensemen Corey Potter and Steve Wagner to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL a day after recalling them.
Potter, 27, had 16:43 of ice time last night on 20 shifts, one shot and two blocked shots. He has appeared in 62 AHL games this season and has scored 27 points (two goals, 25 assists).
Wagner, 27, did not play last night. He has appeared in 64 AHL games this season and has scored 26 points (five goals, 21 assists).
