Another day. Another healthy body.
Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik (right) is expected to return to the lineup tomorrow against the Penguins after missing 13 games due to a broken finger on his right hand.
Orpik suffered the injury while blocking a shot in a 3-2 overtime loss against the Sharks, Feb. 23.
In 56 games, Orpik, one of the team's alternate captains, has 12 points (one goal, 11 assists).
In other injury news:
-Mark Letestu (shoulder) practiced for the first time since being injured in a 5-1 win at Ottawa, March 15 but is not expected to play tomorrow.
-There was no update on Dustin Jeffrey who appeared to injure knee against the Flyers Thursday.
-Brent Johnson did not practice due to his "upper-body" injury.
-Alex Kovalev did not practice and was given a maintenance day.
-Sidney Crosby had a scheduled day off and did not skate.

Bummer about Jeffrey. With ACL ruptures, they tend to swell big time very quickly, so they typically have to wait for the swelling to go down a bit before they image. But given how he was hit, and his inability to put any weight on it, I'd guess he's got a Malkin-type injury. For what my non-medical $.02 are worth.
As an aside, I hope the league doesn't adopt the Tortorella/Mark Stall "body injury" without any hint about upper or lower. Is there any such thing as a "non-body" injury?
