You better get used to Root Sports.
The Penguins and Root Sports, formerly FSN Pittsburgh, reached an agreement to keep local Penguins broadcasts on the all-sports channel through the 2028-29 season. Root Sports will have an opportunity to broadcast a mininum of 70 games per season.
To put that in perspective, Sidney Crosby will be 41 by the time the agreement expires.
