Penguins-What can Tyler Kennedy command as a restricted free agent? (PG+)
-Former Penguins coach Michel Therrien (right) has interviewed with Wild general manager Cliff Fletcher for that teams' vacant head coaching position. Therrien is currently a scout with Minnesota.
-Happy 65th birthday to former Penguins general manager, head coach and Hockey Hall of Fame member Craig Patrick. One of the most important figures in the history of the Penguins, Patrick served as the team's general manager from 1989 until 2006. During that time, he directed the club to two Stanley Cup titles, one Presidents' Trophy, five division titles, 11 consecutive playoff appearances and 575 wins. Patrick also had two unsuccessful stints as the team's coach in 1990 and 1997. Overall, his coaching record with the team was 29-36-9.
-Tim Thomas made 31 saves for the Bruins in a 2-0 shutout of the Lightning in Game 3. Boston has a 2-1 series lead.

Non-Playoff Stuff-The Rangers signed forward Christian Thomas, a second-round pick in 2009, to a three-year entry-level contract.
-The Senators signed forwards Zack Smith (right) to a two-year contract and Colin Greening to a three-year contract. Both players were scheduled to become unrestricted free agents this summer. Terms of the contract were not revealed.
-The Globe and Mail is reporting Winnipeg-based True North has reached an agreement with the Atlanta Spirit group, owner of the Thrashers. The agreement would move the franchise to Winnipeg.

-The Blackhawks signed goaltender Corey Crawford (right) to a three-year contract worth $8 million. Crawford, who was scheduled to become a restricted free agent this summer, will have a salary cap hit of $2.6 million.
-Red Wings assistant coach Brad McCrimmon resigned from his position.
-Flames forward Fredrik Modin announced his retirement. He also played for the Maple Leafs, Lightning, Blue Jackets, Kings and Thrashers.
-The Ducks signed forward Emerson Etem, a first-round pick in 2010, to a three-year entry-level contract.
-The Coyotes signed forward Ethan Werek, a second-round pick of the Rangers in 2009, to an entry-level contract. He was acquired from New York in a trade earlier this month.
-Former Red Wings/Sabres/Thrashers forward Vyacheslav Kozlov (right) has joined Dynamo Moscow of the KHL.
-Former Avalanche forward Riku Hahl has joined Jokerit of the SM-liiga in Finland.
