Penguins-According to the team's Web Site, Penguins goaltending prospect Alexander Pechurskiy (right) has joined Magnitogorsk Metallurg.
-The Penguins need some more ice crew members.
-Happy 45th birthday to former Penguins forward Stephane Richer. A free agent signing prior to the 2001-02 season, Richer's Penguins career amounted to 58 games and 25 points that campaign. At the trade deadline, he was dealt to the Devils in exchange for a draft pick.
-A goal and two assists by Michael Ryder led the Bruins to an 8-1 rout of the Canucks in Game 3. Former Penguin Mark Recchi scored two goals for Boston while teammates David Krejci, Daniel Paille and fellow former Penguin Andrew Ference each contributed a goal and an assist. Fire Craig Patrick and Ray Shero. Tim Thomas made 40 saves in the victory. The Canucks lead the series, 2-1.
-The story of the game was a hit by Vancouver's Aaron Rome which knocked out Boston's Nathan Horton:
-Horton was hospitalized due to the hit. Rome received a five minute major for interference and a game misconduct.
-Rome will have a disciplinary hearing today.
-Goal of the Night: Marchand with a beauty shorthanded:
-Saves of the Night: Thomas on Vancouver's Mason Raymond:
-Awesome Hit of the Night: Thomas on Vancouver captain Henrik Sedin:

-The ongoing finger-biting "feud" took on a few new chapters when Recchi stuck a finger in the grill of Vancouver's Maxim Lapierre:

-Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo declined an offer from coach Alain Vigneault to leave the game once the Bruins took a 5-0 lead.
-Yesterday just happened to be the 25th anniversary of the Canucks trading hall-of-fame forward Cam Neely to the Bruins.
-Vancouver's Green Men made their way to Boston.
-Other Vancouver fans were "welcomed" to Boston as you might expect:

-Former Hurricanes captain Rod Brind'Amour will take on an assistant coaching position with the club.
-The Panthers are rolling out a new redder promotional campaign:
-The Blues re-signed restricted free agent forward T.J. Hensick to a two-year contract extension. Financial terms were not revealed.
-The Blue Jackets hired Ian Clark as goaltending coach.
-The Predators re-signed goaltending coach Mitch Korn to a three-year contract extension.
-The Flames hired former Blackhawks/Mighty Ducks/Senators head coach Craig Hartsburg as an assistant coach.
-The Coyotes re-signed unrestricted goaltender Jason LaBarbera (right) to a two-year contract. Financial terms were not announced.

Honestly, what ever happens, I won't be surprised. Wouldn't be surprised if he was gone for the rest of the Finals and into next year...wouldn't be surprised if he got nothing.
