One of the more popular members of the Penguins in recent years is back in the fold.
Bill Guerin, a member of the 2009 Stanley Cup team, has been brought back to the Penguins in the role of player development coach. He will assist in the development of players in the minor leagues as well as prospects in the college and junior ranks.
Guerin finished his 18-year NHL career by spending parts of two seasons with the Penguins. In 95 regular season games, he score 57 points.
Since officially retiring this past fall, Guerin had been exploring various options in management with the Penguins.
