The Penguins, hockey and more, by the PG's Seth Rorabaugh. |
We'll be previewing the seven NHL awards which count throughout the day. (Sorry Lady Byng fans.) Here we'll preview the Jack Adams Award which goes to "judged to have contributed the most to his team's success." We will also be hosting a live chat for the awards show beginning at 7 p.m. Click here to join the fun.

Dan Bylsma - Pittsburgh Penguins (49-25-8, 106 points)

Barry Trotz - Nashville Predators (44-27-11, 99 points)

Alain Vigneault - Vancouver Canucks (54-19-9, 117 points)
Who we'd vote for: Bylsma. Despite missing franchise players such as Sidney Crosby, Jordan Staal and Evgeni Malkin miss at least half of the season, Bylsma was able to keep his team on course and kept it in contention for first place in the Eastern Conference all season long. Trotz routinely does more with less and Vigneault had the best team in the NHL during the regular season, but neither did as good of a job this season as Bylsma.Who will win: Bylsma. When you consider his body of work and the fact that "24/7" essentially served as a commercial for Bylsma, he's a lock for this award.
