Penguins-Ten years ago today, the original #JagrWatch took place.
-The Devils re-signed forward Tim Sestito to a one-year two-way contract.
-The Capitals signed former Maple Leafs forward and Pittsburgh native Christian Hanson. Terms of the contract have not been revealed. In six games last season, he did not score a point. Hanson is the son of Dave Hanson of "Slap Shot" fame.
-The Panthers re-signed unrestricted free agent forward Ryan Carter to a one-year two-way contract.
-The Blackhawks re-signed restricted free agent forward Viktor Stalberg to a two-year contract worth a total of $1.75 million. He will have a salary cap hit of $875,000. In 77 games last season, he scored 24 points (12 goals, 12 assists).
-Flames goaltending coach Clint Malarchuk has lived an interesting and nearly tragic life.
