According to Rich Hammond of the L.A. Kings Insider, this is the expected lineup for the Penguins in tonight's game at Kansas City:

Forwards - Mark Letestu, Jordan Staal, Richard Park, Chris Kunitz, James Neal, Eric Tangradi, Craig Adams, Nick Johnson, Steve MacIntyre, Joe Vitale, Tyler Kennedy, Evgeni Malkin.

Defensemen - Matt Niskanen, Deryk Engelland, Ben Lovejoy (right)Paul Martin, Brian Strait, Joseph Morrow, Scott Harrington.

Goaltenders - Marc-Andre Fleury, Brad Thiessen.

For the Kings:

Forwards - Dustin Penner, Mike Richards, Trent Hunter, Dwight King, Jarret Stoll, Dustin Brown, Jordan Nolan, Andrei Loktionov, Justin Williams, Kyle Clifford, Trevor Lewis, Ethan Moreau.

Defensemen - Rob Scuderi, Jack Johnson, Alec Martinez, Matt Greene, Davis Drewiske, Slava Voynov.

Goaltenders - Jonathan Bernier, Jonathan Quick.

-The Kings announced that the game is a sell-out.

-The game is not televised locally. We will not be live-blogging it as a result.

I think KC is really going about getting a team the wrong way.

So what if you sell out one exhibition game...does that prove that the KC market can support a team? No.

Winnipeg got an AHL team and made sure it was the strongest, best supported team in the league. They proved that they could support pro hockey over the long term.

KC has yet to prove that, let alone that they can support pro hockey at NHL prices.

Get an AHL team in there and show off the Sprint Center to all of the NHL people who make their way through the AHL.

Get an AHL team and sell out the building.

Until then, you will be behind Quebec, the Toronto suburbs and probably Seattle on the pecking order.

I am really curious how they role out the lines with 5 centers in Letestu, Staal, Park, Vitale and Malkin.

I assume Vitale will be 4th line with Adams on the wing and MacIntyre.

If the game is on TV, please let me know.

Brian Burke upset that Avery was called names after he sucker punched Simmonds. I guess he never saw the Kevin Stevens/Trottier video.
