The Penguins will wear commemorative purple jerseys during warms ups prior to Thursday's game against the Islanders. The jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit the NHL's "Hockey Fights Cancer" charity.

No word yet if the Penguins plan on serving pancakes to the Islanders following the game.

Additionally, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, Penguins president David Morehouse, general manager Ray Shero and Luke Ravenstahl will be on hand for a press conference tomorrow where the league is expected to announce the 2012 draft will be held at Consol Energy Center.
