The Penguins, hockey and more, by the PG's Seth Rorabaugh. |

Another day, another defenseman.
The Penguins have recalled defenseman Robert Bortuzzo from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.He has appeared in two AHL games this season with no points and a plus-3 rating.
Bortuzzo, 22, missed all of training camp as well as the first few weeks of the regular season due to a knee injury he suffered in the team's prospect tournament in September.
A third-round pick in 2007, Bortuzzo (6-foot-3, 196-pound) had never played in the NHL.
EN Says: With Zbynek Michalek (finger), Brian Strait (elbow) and Ben Lovejoy (wrist) definitely sidelined and Kris Letang and Matt Niskanen skipping practice today due to "maintenance" issues, it wouldn't be shocking to see Bortuzzo make his NHL debut tomorrow. That said, another recent call-up, Alexandre Picard, is definitely ahead of him on the depth chart.
