The Penguins, hockey and more, by the PG's Seth Rorabaugh. |

Welcome back Steve MacIntyre (above).
The Penguins recalled MacIntyre from a conditioning assignment with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL today.
In four NHL games this season, MacIntyre has no points and two penalty minutes. In four AHL games, he has no points and 14 penalty minutes.
MacIntyre, 31, was a free agent signing this past summer. He is on a two-way contract.
Also, the team demoted forward Eric Tangradi. In two NHL games this season, Tangradi has no points. Prior to being recalled to the NHL last week, Tangradi was the AHL Penguins' leading scorer with 12 points (seven goals, five assists) in 15 games.

More significant to me is Tangradi got sent down. Again.
I'm starting to worry this guy's never gonna stick at the NHL level. For us, anyhow. Seems either Bylsma doesn't like him or he's lacking something he needs to hang around here. Or both.
