The long-awaited return of Sidney Crosby will finally come.
The Penguins announced the team's captain will play his first game of the season tomorrow against the Islanders at Consol Energy Center at 7 p.m.
Crosby has not played since an 8-1 rout of the Lightning, Jan. 5. He has been sidlined since then due to a concussion.
Despite Crosby's absence, the Penguin are in second place in the Atlantic Division with an 11-6-3 record and 25 points.
In 33 career games against the Islanders, Crosby has 62 points (18 goals, 44 assists).
UPDATE: CBC will carry the game for a special Hockey Night in Canada.
SECOND UPDATE: Versus will carry the game nationally in the United States outside of the Pittsburgh and New York markets.
