With the team mostly healthy (for now) on the blue line, the Penguins demoted defenseman Alexandre Picard to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton fo the AHL.
Picard, 26, has appeared in six NHL games this season with no points and a plus-5.
In nine AHL games this season, Picard has three assists and a plus-7.
A free agent signing this past summer, Picard is on a two-way contract.
