-Andrew Hotham had two goals and two assists for the Wheeling Nailers in a 5-1 rout of the Gwinnett Gladiators. Peter Delmas made 15 saves for Wheeling.
-Happy 46th birthday to former Penguins defenseman Jeff Norton. A free agent signing in the 2000 offseason, Norton's Penguins career amounted to 32 games and 12 points in 2000-01. At the 2001 trade deadline, he was traded to the Sharks in exchange for Bobby Dollas and Johan Hedberg.
-Happy 49th birthday to former Penguins defenseman Gilbert Delorme (right). A free agent signing in the 1989 season, Delorme's Penguins career amounted to 54 games and 10 points in 1989-90. After suffering a broken leg in in the 1990 offseason, he missed the entire 1990-91 season and spent all of 1991-92 with the Penguins' IHL affiliate in Muskegon. He was released in the 1992 offseason.
-The Islanders placed forward Blake Comeau on waivers.
-The Devils demoted forward Nick Palmieri to Albany of the AHL.
-The Rangers recalled forwards Carl Hagelin and John Mitchell from Connecticut of the AHL.
-Canadiens forward Scott Gomez is dealing with a groin injury.
-The Sabres recalled forward Zack Kassian from Rochester of the AHL.
-Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau didn't like how HBO portrayed him on "24/7" in contrast to Dan Bylsma.
-Jets defenseman Zach Bogosian will not be disciplined for a hit to the head of Capitals forward Cody Eakin Wednesday.
-Defensemen Barrett Jackman and Kevin Shattenkirk have formed a nice shutdown pairing for the Blues.
-Oilers defenseman and former Penguin Ryan Whitney is expected to return to the lineup tonight after being sidelined since Oct. 25 due to an knee injury.
-Ducks forward Bobby Ryan is dealing with a hip contusion.
-Stars captain Brenden Morrow is dealing wth an "upper-body" injury.

Is there no end to the ammount of whining that comes from that place?
I suppose I should enjoy it. As long as their focus in on other teams (the Penguins in particular) and on how the world mistreats them, they figure to stay perenial losers.
