The Penguins, hockey and more, by the PG's Seth Rorabaugh. |
Penguins forward James Neal was fined $2,500 by the NHL for a high stick penalty against Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban.
The penalty occured at 7:10 of the third period. Neal and Subban were engaged along the wall. Neal took a tumble and swung his stick wildly into the helmet of Subban. Neal received a two-minute minor for the play. Subban was no injured.
That is the maximum fine allowed by the league's collective bargaining agreement.
