-Two goals from Daniel Paille led the Bruins to a 5-2 defeat of the Senators. Patrice Bergeron and Rich Peverly each added a goal and an assist for Boston while teammate and former Penguin Andrew Ference recorded two assists. Fire Craig Patrick. Tim Thomas made 47 saves in the win. Captain Daniel Alfredsson and Jason Spezza each had a goal and an assist for the Senators.

-The Hurricanes recalled goaltender Justin Peters from Charlotte of the AHL and demoted goaltender Mike Murphy to Charlotte.
-The NHL opted not to suspend Jets defenseman Zach Bogosian for a hit from behind on Wild forward Pierre-Marc Bouchard Tuesday. The league ruled Bouchard turned into the hit and put himself into a dangerous position.

-Having gotten an NHL team back in Winnipeg, Jets fans now turn their attention to more important matters. Like getting trough urinals in the MTS Centre.

-Shootout goals by captain Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane gave the Blackhawks a 4-3 win against the Wild. Toews had a regulation goal and an assist while teammate Ray Emery made 27 saves. Cal Clutterbuck recorded two assists for Minnesota.

-One game after returning from a concussion, Wild forward Guillaume Latendresse left last night's game in Chicago due to post-concussion syndrome.
-The Wild activated defenseman Marek Zidlicky (concussion) from injured reserve, recalled forward Warren Peters from Houston of the AHL and demoted defenseman Nate Prosser to Houston.
-With forward Brandon Yip dealing with a groin ailment, the Avalanche recalled forward David Van Der Gulik from Lake Erie of the AHL.

-Two goals by Niklas Hagman led the Ducks to a 4-1 win against the Coyotes. Corey Perry recorded two assists for Anaheim while teammate Jonas Hiller made 19 saves.
