-Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta is expected to return to the lineup tonight for the first time since being sidelined with a groin injury Dec. 2.
-The Canadiens signed forward prospect Michaël Bournival to a three-year entry-level contract.
-With forward Philippe Dupuis placed on injured reserve due to an "upper-body" injury, the Maple Leafs recalled forward Nazem Kadri (right) from Toronto of the AHL.
-Lightning forward Martin St. Louis returned to the lineup after missing five games due to facial injuries.

-Bryan Bickell and Victor Stalberg each had a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks who beat the Canadiens, 5-1. Brent Seabrook recorded two assists for Chicago while Corey Crawford made 20 saves in the win.

-Two goals by Logan Couture led the Sharks to a 7-2 rout of the Lightning. Brent Burns and and Patrick Marleau each added a goal and an assist for San Jose while teammates Ryane Clowe, Michal Handzus and Joe Thornton each recorded two assists. Antti Niemi made 22 saves in the win.
-Sharks forward Martin Havlat will be sidelined six to eight weeks due to a left hamstring injury. Havlat was injured after he fell off the bench Wednesday:
