Scott Hartnell had a goal and an assist for Philadelphia while teammate Claude Giroux recorded two assists. Ilya Bryzgalov made 30 saves in the victory. Captain Jonathan Toews netted two assists for Chicago.

-Philadelphia police are searching for Flyers fans who attacked two Rangers fan, including a Woodbridge, N.J. police officer and Iraq War Veteran following the Winter Classic Monday. A graphic video of the assault has been circling the Internet. (WARNING: Graphic Content):
-The excellent Flyers Blog Broad Street Hockey wrote a post denouncing the actions and cross published it to its Facebook page. A Flyers fan named Edward Neary claimed via Facebook he was one of the Flyers fans in the video. Broad Street Hockey took down his contact information and passed it on to the police.
-"24/7" concluded last night. Without spoiling it too much, let's just say it was awesome again:
-Tuukka Rask made 25 saves for the Bruins in a 9-0 shutout of the Bruins. Patrice Bergeron and Nathan Horton each had two goals and an assist for Boston while teammates David Krejci and Tyler Seguin each collected a goal and two assists.

-Panthers forward Mikael Samuelsson returned to the lineup after missing five games due to a bruised tailbone.
-Florida forward Marcel Goc returned to the lineup for the first time since suffering a concussion Nov. 15.
-The Hurricanes recalled forward Brett Sutter (right) from Charlotte of the AHL and demoted forward Zac Dalpe and defenseman Derek Joslin to Charlotte.
-The Jets recalled forward Patrice Cormier from St. John of the AHL.
-Lightning forwards Adam Hall and J.T. Wyman left last night's game due to "upper-body" injuries.
-Captain David Backes and Alex Pietrangelo each had a goal and an assist for the Blues in a 4-3 defeat of the Oilers. Carlo Coliacovo recorded three assists for St. Louis while teammate Jaroslav Halak made 29 saves.
