The Penguins have recalled forward Colin McDonald from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL. McDonald, 27, is the AHL Penguins' leading scorer with 28 points (eight goals, 20 assists) in 33 games.
He was selected to the AHL's all-star game earlier this week.
A free agent signing this past summer, McDonald has appeared in two NHL games in his career, both with the Oilers, and has one goal.

If he does get in the lineup lets hope he isn't just buried on the 4th line and get 6 minutes of playing time. That is the one thing I hate when they recall forwards. They get buried in the lines and then have Adams or Cooke on the 2nd line where they don't belong. Just live the botttom lines alone and plug him in Dupius spot on the 2nd line with Staal and TK. Or move up Sullivan and have him on 3rd line with Vitale and Cooke.
