The Penguins, hockey and more, by the PG's Seth Rorabaugh. |

You could see this one coming from a mile away.
The Penguins have recalled forward Eric Tangradi from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL. It is Tangradi's third recall to the NHL this season. He has played in four NHL games and has no points.
Tangradi, 22, is Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's second-leading scorer with 25 points (14 goals, 11 assists) in 30 games this season.
EN Says: This latest recall isn't quite do or die with regards to Tangradi's career with the Penguins, but it's in that neighborhood.
Presumably, he'll have a chance to claim a top-six role with the team considering some of the injuries they're dealing with up front. If he can show he can play a complete game in all three zones while also providing his signature presence near the cage, that will go a long way towards showing management he has a future with the team.
