Center Evgeni Malkin was selected as the the Penguins lone represntative to the NHL's All-Star Lame Game.

Senators forwards Daniel Alfredsson, Milan Michalek, Jason Spezza, Senators defensman Erik Karlsson, Maple Leafs defenseman Dion Phaneuf and Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas were selected previously through a fan vote.

Additionally, the team demoted forward Colin McDonald, an all-star at the AHL level, to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. In two NHL games, McDonald has no points and a plus-1 rating.

Forward/enforcer Steve MacIntyre cleared waivers and was also demoted to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. In 10 NHL games this season, MacIntyre has no points and two penalty minutes.

Ove is the 46th forward in points and a -8. He hasn't been good this year. He got in because of his name only.

Neal, Eriksson from Dal, Bergeron from Bos, Franzen from Det amoung others are playing better then him.
