The Penguins have demoted forwards Steve MacIntyre and Eric Tangradi (above) to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.
MacIntyre, 31, was recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL. MacIntyre has appeared in 11 NHL games this season with no points and four penalty minutes. In seven AHL games, he has not scored and has 16 penalty minutes.
Tangradi, 22, has appeared in 12 NHL games with no points and 12 penalty minutes.In 30 AHL games, he has scored 25 points (14 goals, 11 assists).
EN Says: With the NHL heading to the All-Star break, both players could benefit from a pair of games in the AHL this weekend.
