-There was no update on Sidney Crosby's health yesterday.
-Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins forward Colin McDonald and the Eastern Conference lost to the Western Conference, 18-10, in the AHL's all-star skills competition.
-McDonald went 0 for 8 in the accuracy shooting contest.
-Peter Lenes scored two goals for the Wheeling Nailers in a 5-2 defeat of the Toledo Walleye. Jordon Southorn added a goal and an assist for the Nailers while teammate Andrew Hotham recorded four assists. Patrick Killeen made 27 saves in the victory.
